Laparoscopic gastric plication - new chance in the treatment of severe obesity

Bariatric-metabolic surgery is nowadays fully accepted therapeutic modality in the treatment of severe obese patiens. There is no procedure

to be called the gold standard. Therefore the search continues. Recently starts gaining popularity procedure, first presented in

2007, called LGCP (laparoscopic greater curvature plication). It is volume reductive procedure. The volume reduction is made by greater

curvature plication. The authors present case report- the first one in their department. The description of operative technique and

endoscopic view is presented.
