Endoscopic submucosal dissection of early gastric carcinoma

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is an endoscopic method designed to treat some early neoplasms of the gastrointestinal tract.

In 2006, we were the first in the Czech literature to have reported on its successful use in the rectum (1). The aim of the paper is to report

on a successful application of ESD in the stomach.
