HAA is a rare disease. Its rupture is a very serious complication with high mortality. Up to 46 % of symptomatic patients present with
gastrointestinal bleeding from arterio-intestinal fistula. The diagnosis of HAA is possible with the help of abdominal ultrasound, computerized
tomography (CT), angiography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or rarely endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) and esophagogastroduodenoscopy.
A case report with short video of the case of successfully treated 38-years old man with recurrent duodenal
bleeding is presented here. We believe, EUS had a major role in the preoperative diagnosis. Nevertheless, to successfully manage the
patient, interdisciplinary approach proved necessary.
