Endoskopie 2010; 19(2): 79-84
Endoscopic examination methods are widely used in diagnosis and treatment in many branches of medicine. Currently, the size of objects
observed endoscopically is most commonly determined by estimation or by comparing to an object of a known size introduced to the
observed area for this purpose. The authors present their initial experience with the development of a method allowing direct measurement
of the objects observed.
