Complex therapy of morbid obesity

The growing problem of obesity brings efforts to solve this problem. The last decade has witnessed an increasing use of bariatric surgery,

i. e. surgery for obesity. This paper aims to highlight the basic procedures in this field which the expert public is still not sufficiently

familiar with.

Keywords: bariatric surgery, obesity, gastric bandage, gastric tubulization, gastric bypass, biliopancreatic diversion, intragastric balloon.
